Following a highly successful programme in 2023, Infospectrum is delighted to announce the launch of its Graduate Analyst Programme for 2024. We will soon be seeking applications from ambitious, talented graduates, eager to learn and develop a career in the fields of commercial due diligence and counterparty/credit risk research, company analysis, ratings, and professional reporting.

The Company

Established over 20 years ago, and with a growing team of 50 Analysts present in Europe, the US, and the Asia-Pacific regions, Infospectrum is a global leader in its market. The company’s work is integral to risk management and compliance procedures employed by major clients in the shipping, commodities, and energy trading markets worldwide.

  The Programme

Over the course of six months, Infospectrum's Graduate Analysts undertake a comprehensive training programme with the support of a dedicated Training Manager, a global team of highly experienced Analysts, and fellow graduates. The Programme helps candidates build expertise in the fundamentals of conducting thorough research, analysis, and reporting, and assessing and rating companies in context with credit and counterparty risk, often in the light of a particular commercial transaction in the aforementioned industry sectors.

  • The chance to gain highly practical commercial experience within a market-leading organisation
  • The means to draw from the experience of a diversified global team of 50 highly skilled Analysts
  • An initial six-week induction/training phase based at the company’s Oxford (UK) HQ, with accommodation and a subsistence allowance provided
  • The prospect of permanent employment upon successful completion of the Programme
  • Full eligibility for employee benefits packages upon successful completion of the Programme
  • A competitive starting salary

  Candidate Profile

  • A minimum expected 2:1 degree from a leading academic institution, ideally in the fields of finance, accounting, economics, geopolitics, business, maritime, law, or journalism

  • The drive to learn and to receive and apply guidance
  • The ability to work quickly and methodically, and to meet strict deadlines
  • Exceptional detail-focussed research and analysis skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  The Selection Process

  1. A Online Written Assessment: This practical exercise will test each candidate’s ability to accurately understand, analyse, and report on selected commercial and financial information.
  2. An Online Interview: Following the written assessment, candidates will attend an online interview, via MS Teams, with one of our Senior Analysts, and our HR Manager.
